Back in the business
September 17, 2006 – 9:41 pmYep! Summer is pretty much over and so are holidays so i decided to start developping again. Starting next week i’ll be working on the following:
- XML parser + Image Generator for Last.fm recently played tracks (working example here)
- Update L2World Server Status
- Maybe I’ll update the Calendar plugin. If i do so, i’ll probably rewrite it from scratch with much cleaner code and make it XHTML compliant.
- Might even consider developing one or two of the plugins requested @ SourceForge.net/wp-plugins (feel free to go there and post your ideas for plugins ;))
So, expect these updates (and perhaps a few more) in the next weeks!

I notice that there’s still no activity on the calendar plugin. I have taken your code and have been actively developing on it - a pretty major rewrite to work well with Wordpress 2.1 and utilize PHP 5 OO features. I looked at the feature request list on sourceforge and a few of the items align with things I am planning to do (notably, to use AJAX, making it into a widget, add a full-page calendar, and lists of events). I would like to talk to you in detail about some of these changes, feel free to email me!

I am also wondering if you have updates to the plugin or better tutorials. I can activate your plugin just fine but I cannot figure for the life of me how to get it onto my blog. Any help would be great. So, far I prefer your Calendar than to the thousands of plugins that use the google calendaring system.
