I have taken your code and have been actively developing on it - a pretty major rewrite to work well with Wordpress 2.1 and utilize PHP 5 OO features. I looked at the feature request list on sourceforge and a few of the items align with things I am planning to do (notably, to use AJAX, making it into a widget, add a full-page calendar, and lists of events).
